Animatic-Thinking/deciding

This is a short animatic about a boy who plays a carnival game and is forced to make a decision. I boarded the sequence out intially, but while in production there were a few minor changes to help flush it out. Enjoy

Senior Portrait

Looking at the dates tells me I have been very inactive for quite a while. I will try and not let this happen often. The semester is going well as I wrap up my thesis project and continue the job search. The Senior Show opens on May 1 on campus. If you are in the area feel free to come. On the poster advertising the show you will see this image as my Senior Portrait. Enjoy!

Ink and Paint

So I haven't posted in a very long time. Things have been going really well. I have been in three shows this year and I am looking to add to that list. Below are a few pieces I did for Senior illustration class and the Tata Gala, held at Digital 3. Enjoy!!!

end of semester

these are a few of the final pieces before the end of the semester. I hope to be posting more frequently over the summer!!

These are a few of my newer pieces from this semester. Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I am keeping my fingers crossed for some internship opportunities over the summer. I will be posting again soon. Enjoy!

Sequential illustration

The last project in my illustration class required was to design and compose a story with sequential images. I chose "The Best Game" an interesting story of how a man ends up bored with hunting and finds the best game. Something that hunts back. Its a fantastic story and fun to read. This is my first attempt at sequential and I really enjoyed it. I would like to do more of this kind of work.

more work

here is more of the work from the end of the semester. The lady painting her fingernails is a mastercopy of Nicolai Fechin. He is an amazing painter!! The rest are more figure studies from class.

End of the semester

These are some pieces I did towards the end of the semester for illustration and figure painting.
I am home for the holidays and looking forward to some rest and my own work. Enjoy the break and happy holidays to all.
